Tanesha Tutt, DHED, LMSW, CHES
My name is Tanesha Tutt, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker here at Maternally Mindful Counseling Center and I am also a Certified Health Education Specialist with 16 years of public health experience. Even though Maternally Mindful is located in Canton, GA we see women all across the State of Georgia!
In my clinical work, I serve women in the pregnancy/postpartum/journey to conception world and counsel women at various stages of life who may be struggling with life transitions, depression and/or anxiety. I am particularly passionate about serving women and men who may be struggling with infertility.
My personal journey to motherhood includes suffering with cysts and fibroids since I was 14 years old. I have had three surgeries to remove fibroids and cysts from my ovaries and uterus. Additionally, in 2013, my husband and I learned we were amongst the 1 in 8 couples impacted by infertility. The diagnosis explained the five years of unsuccessful pregnancy attempts and changed the trajectory of how we thought we would become parents. However, it is because of my journey that I have been able to connect with other women navigating women’s health issues. I also know what it is like to become a parent through various pathways to parenthood, welcoming our daughter in January 2019.
Again, it is a passion of mine and I specialize in serving those dealing with infertility and I enjoy helping women, men, and couples as they journey through the twists, turns, and emotions that infertility may cause. I am here to make sure you do not feel alone in your journey and would consider it a privilege to help you navigate this difficult time in your life.
