Exploring Counseling for Women

For women seeking counseling, it’s natural to have questions about the process.

Some common queries include:

Is counseling for women effective for depression and anxiety?

Yes, counseling is a valuable tool for addressing depression and anxiety and with the right support you will feel like yourself again!

How often should you see a therapist?

The frequency of sessions varies. We always pay attention to meeting your individual needs and goals.

Do we only see women with concerns during pregnancy/postpartum?

We see women with all types of concerns! We see women who would like to address boundaries, life transitions, relationships concerns, divorce, grief, perfectionism, trauma, domestic violence, anxiety and depression to name a few.

We do however have several clinicians who specialize in exploring the emotional needs of women who are struggling due to pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, miscarriage, birth trauma, NICU experiences or infant loss.

Our counseling approach addresses challenges to empowering women. We believe in personal growth, resilience, and self-discovery. Whether you are navigating motherhood, facing career changes, or seeking support for mental health, our goal is to provide a safe and supportive space.
